The Best Way To Start
The best way to start working with me is to read these FAQ’s! I believe you should be able to get a clear understanding about what it’s like working with me before we start a project.
Also, these FAQ’s will help you prepare for your website project. Building or redesigning a website isn’t something you do every day. So, it might feel a bit overwhelming if you don’t know what to expect or what you’ll need to do.
My goal with these FAQ’s is to make your website project easier, less stressful, and ultimately more successful, while also helping you make the decision if I can help you reach your goals.
Free Introductory Phone Call
All projects officially start with a free introductory phone call. But, if you’re uncomfortable jumping right into call, you can always email me first to get additional information.
We’ll use the phone call to discuss your project, answer your questions, and help me gather the information I need to prepare a project proposal for you.
You should be prepared to discuss the following things during the call:
- Why you want a new website or updated website
- How you want your website to help your business
- Who your target audience or ideal client is
- What types of content you want and who will be gathering and preparing it
- What types of functionality you think your website needs
Scheduling Your Free Call
It’s pretty simply to schedule your call. You can either email me, and I’ll send you a link to my online scheduler. Or, you can go to my website and click a link to schedule your free call.
Just in case you’re ready to start, you can schedule your call right now!
Once you get to my online scheduler, you will be asked to pick a time and then complete a simple form to provide some information about you and your project.
Then, I’ll send you a confirmation email and a link for our Zoom call.
Project Proposal
After our call, I’ll send you a project proposal for your review. We will likely have already discussed the project scope and price on our call, so nothing in the proposal should be a big surprise to you.
The proposal will usually come with a contract for services and an invoice for your deposit or initial payment. Once you have agreed to the proposal, you will then be directed to the contract and invoice automatically.
The project will begin once you have signed the contract and paid your invoice.
