Redesigning the Website for Marrs Law PC
The Problem
Marrs Law contacted me because they needed a new web designer and wanted to update their website. We quickly discovered that they didn’t have access to their current website. And, their current website was going to be taken off line in about 3 weeks.
We needed to act quickly!
The Goal
Their goals were simple. First, Marrs Law wanted a web designer who communicated with them and responded.
Second, they also wanted to update the website to accurately reflect who they serve and their brand. They felt the old website was too dark and too masculine. They wanted the website to appeal to both men and women.
Also, the website just didn’t seem contemporary and didn’t have the look and feel they were after to represent their small law firm online.
The Solution
In order to get a website up quickly, I sent the firm manager some templates we could use as a model for their new site. Then, we could continue to update and customize the website over time as we reworked their content and added new pages.
We worked on a new color palette and found some new images from the are where their firm is located.
Then, I design them a new site using WordPress, with the GeneratePress theme and Generate Blocks Pro. I chose these tools because they are very reliable and provide excellent performance. These tools will also give us the flexibility we need as the firm and the website continue to grow.
Then, we migrated their website to one of my preferred web hosting services. I gave the Marrs Law PC manager access to the website. We set them up on website plan that includes everything they need: hosting, support, content updates. This way, they don’t have to worry about their website and can focus on building their practice.
The End Result
The law firm was delighted with their new website!
Marrs Law PC is now happy to share their website with their current and potential clients.
We were in a bind, when our Website developer let us know we did not have the rights to our website that we paid a lot of money for and we had less than a month before our website would go down. Lisa was able to assist us quick and helped us tremendously! She has a great heart, she understood our situation and was able to create an even better website then our previous one, at a much less cost to us, with a super quick turnaround and with minimal information from us.
